Patrick is responsible for content production, blogging and proofreading. He believes the ability to write in a tone that is both informative and engaging for students is imperative to the education industry.
He is passionate about students hailing from rural backgrounds and ensuring that country areas are being tapped into by higher education providers as a source of quality candidates.
Patrick completed his studies at the end of 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Journalism from Monash University. He cut his teeth for six months before landing at Good Education Group, previously splitting his time as a journalist at the Seymour Telegraph and a Content Writer at NJM Group.
Despite hailing from a family full of primary and secondary school teachers, this is Patrick’s first venture into the educational publishing sector. He appreciates the scope of topics he gets to cover, ranging from coping with the stresses of Year 12 exams to entering the job market. He is fascinated by the shifting nature of many industries due to technology and globalisation, and intends to keep the public in the loop about these changes.
Patrick still plays football for his hometown club Yea, and enjoys Vietnamese food and gin (much to the horror of his whisky-inclined production team colleagues).
