Released on Monday, the Guide ranks institutions across a variety of categories, including student retention, student demand, staff qualification, the percentage of students to go into full-time work, and the overall student experience.
UTAS was one of 12 universities to be given a five-star rating for having a student-to-teacher ratio of 20 to one or less.
The university also had the fourth-highest average starting salary for its graduates at $62,600.
Its other five-star rating came in the social equity category, which measures an institution’s proportion of commencing students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
UTAS was ranked in the top 10 with 24 per cent.
